Whether you're a longtime derby fan or have always been curious about the sport, this is the perfect opportunity to experience the movie that introduced so many people to roller derby and connect with our local derby community.
What to Expect
Meet members of Charlotte Roller Derby, enjoy a screening of Whip It, and spend the evening with fellow fans in one of Charlotte's favorite independent video stores. Come hang out, chat derby, and enjoy a fun, laid-back night at the movies.
Admission
A suggested $5 donation is appreciated and helps support both Charlotte Roller Derby and VisArt Video. Everyone is welcome, so bring your friends, grab some snacks, and join us for a fun evening celebrating roller derby on the big screen.
